I am currently the Executive Director of Analytics & Institutional Research at Washtenaw Community College, located in Ann Arbor, MI. Prior to joining WCC, I spent several years at the University of Michigan. I began my UM career at the Inter-university Consortium for Political and Social Research (ICPSR), housed within the Institute for Social Research. Most recently, I was a Senior Scientist at the Michigan Institute for Data Science (MIDAS).
My research interests include American politics, representation, judicial politics, state and local politics, political behavior, and public opinion. My research has appeared in political science journals, including Political Research Quarterly, American Politics Research, Justice System Journal, Journal of Elections, Public Opinion and Parties, and Vanderbilt Law Review En Banc.
I earned a PhD (and MA) in Political Science from the University of Pittsburgh, an MPA from Eastern Michigan University, and a BA (Political Science and German majors) from the University of Michigan (Ann Arbor).
