I am currently a Senior Scientist at the Michigan Institute for Data Science (MIDAS) at the University of Michigan.  Previously, I was a Senior Data Project Manager and Project Management Lead at the Inter-university Consortium for Political and Social Research (ICPSR), housed within the Institute for Social Research at the University of Michigan.  At ICPSR, I led the acquisitions team for the general archive as well as managed several sponsored projects.

My research interests include American politics, representation, judicial politics, state and local politics, political behavior, and public opinion.  My research has appeared in political science journals, including Political Research Quarterly, American Politics Research, Justice System Journal, Journal of Elections, Public Opinion and Parties, and Vanderbilt Law Review En Banc.

I earned a PhD (and MA) in Political Science from the University of Pittsburgh, an MPA from Eastern Michigan University, and a BA (Political Science and German majors) from the University of Michigan (Ann Arbor).
